The National Stock Horse Association’s 19th year is in the books. This year was their biggest show ever, with a total of 1,163 entries for the show.
This was a year of firsts for the NSHA. First year being a Run For A Million qualifier, showcasing the War Horses Challenge and the introducing the Bridle Horse Memorial.
There were 66 entries in the first 2024 Run For A Million Cow Horse qualifier and 70 amazing bridle horses in the Ronnie Richards Memorial Bridle Show.
The War Horse Challenge was an amazing tribute to some of our American heroes.
In this challenge a group of our bravest veterans learned how to catch a horse and work their way up to going down the fence in a major horse show. All within a few weeks. It was so inspiring to watch.
That’s not all! There were 114 Open Futurity riders and 114 Open Derby riders. The payout with cash and prizes for this year’s event was over $800,000!
The National Stock Horse Association is thankful for the success of this show, their exhibitors and sponsors. They are already working on some exciting things for their 20th year!
